"Everything that happens affects whether people will want to sleep with you," Smith says. With his unique resume, he's found porn is a tricky industry because it breeds insecurity. Zak Smith is an artist, author, and male porn star. "When you shoot, they pay you once, and that's it." "I'd say dealing with the fact that you don't get any royalties" is the hardest thing about his job, Mann says. You may have seen Richard Mann in "Freaknic 2" and "Big Mann on Campus," but Mann says he and his brethren are getting stiffed when it comes to getting paid what they should. It all adds up to being the most difficult job in porn, in my opinion. They have to be in great shape in order to perform. on hard surfaces, cold/hot weather, etc., and/or having to stop frequently for direction or shot setups. This must be done under the most difficult of circumstances, including not being attracted to their female co-star, having sex in the most uncomfortable settings, i.e. They have to get it up and off on cue essentially and all the while in between maintain for two to three hours. The most difficult part about being a male porn star is the hard-on. It's the guy who has to get wood - or else. Seymore Butts has had in his own Showtime reality series, "Family Business," and he's directed and starred in adult movies for years.Īccording to Butts, it's not the porn starlet, the director, the producer, the cameraman, or the production assistant who has the toughest job in porn. Sometimes, Cumming says, he worries his coworkers would "prefer working with a younger guy than me." On the other hand, his age can be an impediment. On the one hand, Cummings owns a niche market. At 72, he's appeared in "The Sopornos 2" and directs his own series, "Sugar Daddy." Are you too young to be getting the salary you're negotiating for? Or are you perceived as too old to be promotable?ĭave Cummings may be the oldest working porn star on the planet. Whether you're a twentysomething or fiftysomething, your age can impact how management perceives your abilities. TIP #3: Be cognizant of how others perceive you. "You can lose a job or not find one if you're too well known for having been a whore on camera, in spite of it being legal." "The second hardest thing is having a post-porn career that doesn't make you 'infamous' if or when it is discovered that you were a sex worker on film/video," Steele reports. Not only that, changing career tracks can be tricky, especially if you leave the adult business and try to reinvent yourself. "The first time I told a girl I was in porn she disconnected her phone number the same night, and I never saw or heard from her again." " having a relationship with a significant other," Steele says. So, Paul rejoices in this victory for the gospel.Īnd as Paul observes the victory of the gospel over his circumstances, he is convinced that this victory will continue on – such that through the prayers of the saints and the work of the Holy Spirit, Paul’s confident expectation & hope are that he himself will be delivered.īecause if Paul is released from prison, he will be free to preach the Gospel publicly and visit the churches that have been established throughout the Roman Empire. And now other believers have become more bold in their public witness for Christ - Phil 1:12-14. Paul has been speaking fearlessly about Christ to all the imperial guards. And he’s rejoicing because his imprisonment has advanced the gospel. We start by observing that even though Paul is in prison, he is rejoicing. Life: fruitful labor for the faith of others And I believe this same principle is true for every Christian why are you still here? Because God will continue to use you for the joy & progress of others in the faith. Paul was convinced that, even though he greatly desired to be with Christ in heaven, the reason that God would have him remain on this Earth, in this life, was for the benefit of others – specifically for the benefit of other believers – for their progress and joy in the faith, such that Christians would even moreso glory in Christ Jesus. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith… But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. Paul’s answer is straightforward – Phil 1:21,22,24,25 - For to me to live is Christ… If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. But the question that is before us today applies primarily to Christians: Why are you still here? Since our Lord Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead in order to take you into heaven with Him for eternity, why are you still here? How are we to think about our life & death from the Biblical perspective? Paul gives us some definite instruction on how we are to live out this life that God has given to us, and how we are to think about our eventual death & the eternal life to follow.Įarly next year, we’re going to be going through a sermon series entitled “Explore God” which is composed of seven big & basic questions that many people have about life and Christianity – and although that series is designed to be evangelistic in nature I believe that our church body will be better equipped to answer those questions. As we roll into the New Year 2019, we’re going to look this morning at an encouraging passage of Scripture that touches on a very basic aspect of our existence – this matter of life & death. Contact tracing revealed the 18 players had interactions with opponents lasting 1 to 364 seconds (median, 12 seconds), with no contacted athletes testing positive over the following 14 days thus, none were considered close contact exposures under the current CDC definition. In all, 138 (11.6%) of the 1190 players tested SARS-CoV-2 positive ( Figure 2), 18 (1.5%) of whom tested positive within 48 hours of playing in a game. Only 13 opponent-pairs had cumulative in-game contact longer than 15 minutes none of the 13 tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 during 14 days pregame or postgame. Accumulated contact time between 2 players during a single game was fewer than 23 seconds (median length, 10 seconds 37 389 opponent pairs below 97 seconds) in most (29 518 ) instances ( Figure 1). Interactions were fleeting (median length, 6 seconds ), and most (104 274 ) were briefer than 26 seconds. In this cohort study, we analyzed SARS-CoV-2 contact exposures and transmission among opposing team players during college football games as the COVID-19 pandemic surged.īetween September 26 and December 19, 2020, 1190 college football athletes had 109 762 opposing-player interactions over 64 SEC regular season games. 3, 4 In part, traditional contact tracing was augmented using wearable, remote proximity loggers to document interpersonal contacts. When the National Collegiate Athletic Association declared football a high-risk transmission sport, the Southeastern Conference (SEC), an intercollegiate athletic conference of 14 universities in 11 southern US states, responded with protocols aligned with US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance to monitor, manage, and mitigate SARS-CoV-2 exposure. 1, 2 During sporting events, efforts like contact tracing pose unique challenges namely, contact between athletes during play may be brief but recurring, while also challenging to track and triage, especially with interstate competitions. The COVID-19 pandemic created heightened concern over SARS-CoV-2 transmission during athletic competitions and necessitated innovative mitigation solutions for protecting athletes, staff, and attendees. This requires relevant programming knowledge. Static websites are usually cheaper to host because the server doesn’t have any further demands to carry out apart from the storage option.ĭisadvantages: outdated information has to be manually replaced on the HTML pages of a static website, which takes a lot of effort. They are also a lot faster since the websites are loaded by the server without any changes. If a static website is used to provide timeless information, it is clearly more low-maintenance than a dynamic website. HTML documents are created once and are delivered unmodified from then on. Due to their flexibility, dynamic websites are the more popular choice.Īdvantages: static websites are cheap to operate. Generally, dynamic websites rely on pre-defined layouts and design templates, which are filled with relevant content. Dynamic websites therefore require more high-performance servers than static websites, as well as a database such as MySQL, with which the server can manage the elements of the website. Both aspects are assembled when the site is entered into the browser. The dynamic website is based on a strict division of the content and layout. Instead of continuously issuing the static HTML pages unmodified, the server adjusts the page content automatically according to the last update. With dynamic websites, this manual step is avoided since the web server freshly generates the websites each time they are called up. But what happens when a website needs to regularly add new content? With a static website, the changes need to be manually carried out in the HTML code of each individual subpage of the web project. When a user enters the web address, they are presented with a static HTML document that looks exactly like those stored on the server. HTML documents with the desired information are created and are stored under their own URL on the web server. If the aim is for your site to take on the role of a digital business card, then a static website will usually suffice. The footer at the bottom of a page often contains links to further information like the site owner and the legal framework. Links to more subpages can also be placed in the text and image elements in the website’s content. The navigation helps the user orientate themselves and see an overview of the website’s structure. They are displayed on every subpage of the website and not just on the home page. departments, product categories, or representative information pages) are usually combined in the navigation and can be found in the header of the website. Hyperlinks, or simply ‘links’ are used to connect single HTML documents of a website. Depending on the size of the website, site visitors have the opportunity to access the website’s subpages. When this address is typed into a browser’s search field (known as the uniform resource locator, URL), the start page of the website appears. My contract began March 9th, 2017 and ended June 8th, 2017. That’s a total commitment of $975 though, in the end, I came in a bit under that. The price commitment for my 3 months was $325 each month. Now that I got what I wanted from the package I had a more easily digestible price. A feature video wouldn’t have made sense and call tracking was unnecessary (I can easily track that in the activity). I got everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t want. To lower the commitment price for the plan I went without: I had the following features which are bare bones: I had a custom package that was based on the intro level. I wasn’t willing to invest $1,200 in Yelp. They did things a bit different for me to get the monthly cost down. The only difference between each plan is the ad click budget.
